Dr. Justin Cotto grew up in Spring Hill, Florida, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida before completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2022. With over eight years of experience in healthcare, Dr. Cotto specializes in outpatient care and is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based treatments. He empowers patients to take control of their health by understanding their conditions and the rationale behind their treatment plans.
Dr. Cotto is skilled in manual therapy techniques, certified in dry needling, and is advancing his expertise through certifications in Manual Therapy and Dry Needling Specialization. He incorporates holistic approaches to alleviate symptoms and help patients achieve improved functionality and performance.
Passionate about accessible, patient-centered care, Dr. Cotto founded Modern Wellness to address his community's need for high-quality treatment. Today, the company provides personalized, one-on-one mobile outpatient physical and occupational therapy, helping patients improve their quality of life and thrive in activities they love and need to do.
Allison (Ali) Cotto, MSc, OTR/L grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, in 2018. With over 10 years of experience in healthcare, Ali has proudly served patients throughout Florida, providing compassionate, evidence-based care across neonatal intensive care (NICU), acute care, and outpatient rehabilitation settings.
Ali is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve greater independence, confidence, and quality of life through personalized occupational therapy. Her clinical interests include functional rehabilitation, newborn developmental consultations, caregiver education and support, home safety, and wellness coaching. She believes that effective therapy begins with understanding each person’s unique goals and creating individualized treatment plans that empower patients to participate in the activities that matter most.
As part of the Modern Wellness team, Ali is committed to providing patient-centered care that extends beyond traditional therapy. Whether supporting newborn development and family education or helping individuals regain function and independence after injury or illness, her goal is to provide practical strategies, encouragement, and tools that promote lasting health and well-being.
